Moira rocks Araw ng Dabaw

WITH a full bladder and a happy heart, concertgoers were turned away at the entrances due to the overwhelming crush of people already inside. The excitement of seeing the singer and songwriter who's known for her “Hugot” songs, Moira dela Torre surely led to the large crowds, last Friday afternoon at the Activity Center, Abreeza Ayala Mall last March 16, 2018.

Whether it's nostalgia or a pang of regret, Moira’s songs are guaranteed to bring out that “Hugot” moment. The voice of the new generation, ASAP Jambayan mainstay, A promising singer-songwriter, better known for her big hit songs “Malaya,” Love you to stars and back’s “Torete,” Camp Sawis’s “Malaya,” The Good Son’s “Sundo.”

One of the most applauded songs in her show was the 2017’s Himig Handog Best Song, Titibo Tibo, penned by Libertine Amistoso, a feel-good song about a boyish girl who finds herself getting more womanly after falling in love with a guy.

Made possible by Activity Center as Abreeza Mall and Cornerstone Entertainment Inc., Moira is known for her soothing and emotional music, her voice comes with an intense passion that pierces through every listener's heart.

Moira was all smiles as she stopped to take photos and sign autographs for fans during the Meet and Greet, the first 100 buyers of her album, “Malaya.”

Moira’s voice has a sweet, breathy and lusty vocal tone. When boyfriend Jason Marvin, also a musician sang Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect”, the crowd went crazy and scream at any hint of movement.
