DAVAO City is under community quarantine for several days and things have changed since its implementation.

With the repeated broadcast of health guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19, the atmosphere in the city and the behaviour of Dabawenyos drastically changed.

Exhausting all means to keep the city working without compromising the safety of its citizens, the government units all over Davao Region implemented several executive orders to ensure that life still goes on inside a quarantined community.

However, negative effects are now being felt by not just only one sector but even to the smallest taxpayers.

Despite its negative effects in the economy, the obedience of the people in following the guidelines helps greatly especially the frontliners in combating the virus as well as in fast-tracking the recovery of the region from the ill-effects of Covid-19.

In light of the situation, measures are now being implemented from both the government and private sectors to ensure the safety of the people. Here are some of the photos during the first week of the city’s community quarantine.
