THE City Government of Davao is launching the virtual Davao Pasko Fiesta dubbed as DavaoPASKOnline Fiesta.

The Pasko Fiesta is a yearly event of the City Government in partnership with the private sector as a means of celebrating the Filipino tradition during the Holiday Season.

During the pre-pandemic, the Pasko Fiesta was highlighted by the thematic Christmas display at the City Hall and Rizal Park, free concerts, gift-giving, Christmas fairs, torotot New Year’s celebration among many face-to-face events.

The Covid-19 pandemic gave way to a reconceptualized Davao Pasko Fiesta, where events will be held online.

Subdued yet meaningful activities will be held during this year’s Davao Pasko Fiesta, which will be shown on social media ( Davao Pasko Fiesta Facebook page).

These activities consist of online contests, Christmas-related DIY workshops, concerts, caroling, inspiring reality series, Christmas film festival, simbang gabi and weekend market.

Much of the activities is centered on the Dabawenyo family celebrating a meaningful and hopeful Christmas. This year’s pasko fiesta carries the theme “ Buong Pamilya, Sama-samang Magsasaya, Puno ng Pag-ibig at Pagasa!” (The whole family, celebrating together filled with love and hope)
