GROCERY items from the burnt NCCC Mall found their way to Tacunan in Tugbok District, this city, where these were sold at very low prices prompting the mall management to deny any hand in this illegal sale and Davao City Mayor Sara Z. Duterte Carpio to order a stop to the selling.

“In response to the circulating news involving selling of damaged products during the fire incident from NCCC Mall Davao, we are advising the public to take extra precaution in buying and consuming the said products. In addition to this, disposal activities are at the sole discretion of our demolition contractor. All selling activities pertaining to the items are not authorized by the NCCC Management,” read the NCCC's official statement.
