THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Davao is monitoring the entry and selling of ecstasy or party drugs in Davao Region.

Speaking during the AFP-PNP press forum at The Royal Mandaya Hotel on Wednesday, August 15, PDEA-Davao regional director Antonio Rivera issued a warning against personalities who are attempting to sneak in illegal substance in the region.

“This is a fair warning sa nagdadala dito and please stop because we know your personality. We know where you are, what are your activities and your clients. This is a fair warning sa iyo,” he said.

He said they are still conducting case build-up against the identified person.

“Some of these days or the months to come, you will fall into our hands,” Rivera said.

Asked on hints of his identity, Rivera did not divulge further details as to not mess up their operation.

Rivera said with the Kadayawan Festival, they are taking measures to prevent such illegal drugs from proliferating in events.

He added that based on their investigation, the supply of drugs in the region still comes from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
