GUAGUA -- The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (Penro) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources here will be closed from July 20 to 26, 2020, after one of its employees came positive in a rapid test for the coronavirus.

The Penro, in a bulletin issued by Penro Officer Laudemir Salac, said that the employee was tested on July 16 and came out positive on July 18. The temporary closure of the Penro offices in Barangay San Anton will provide ample time for contact tracing, improvement of office safety protocols and disinfection, according to Salac.

Salac said that the Penro office will continue to render much-needed services through online systems like emails, social media and work from home arrangements during the duration of the temporary closure of their offices.
