THE 2nd European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) Golf Challenge 2019 expects to exceed last year's edition of the tournament.

Antonio Peralta of ECCCP bared this during yesterday's Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at The Annex of SM City Davao.

He said the golfest last year attracted about 110 players.

This year, however, he said, "We are hoping more participants this year."

Some distinguished personalities will also play in the modified Stableford tournament format tournament.

He said, "Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Save the Children Foundation's relief efforts in communities affected by the recent earthquakes. There is clearly a strong appeal for help. Depending on the number of sponsorships, we will be sharing a substantial assistance, as what we have discussed in the council meeting last week."

Tournament director Emil Hager, meanwhile, said hole-in-one prizes include a round-trip business class ticket to Europe, P100,000 cash and motorcycle, among others.

Exciting raffle prizes are also up for grabs.
