DEFENDING champion Alorica opened its title-retention bid with a win in the Davao Inter-BPO League (DIBL) Volleyball League held at the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Gym.

The Alorica volleybelles spanked Sutherland, 25-15, 25-15, in the women's division.

Alorica's male spikers also leaned on their powerhouse cast to demolish Sutherland 25-5, 25-16, in the men’s event.

In other men's games, Ibex Global also entered the winning column after beating Flatword Solutions, 25-23, 25-13.

The Awesome OS defeated VXI Global 25-15, 26-24, in the event sanctioned by Balibolista de Dabaw. (ABM)
