DAVAO City's Jaione Audrey A. Cambronero clinched a gold medal and a silver in two separate Lents Taekwondo Worldwide Sports Online Poomsae Open 2020 editions.

The Precious International School of Davao (PISD) eighth-grader salvaged the silver in beach poomsae individual color belt under-17 female category of the first Lents worldwide online tournament held on November 21 and 22.

This came on the heels of capturing the gold in recognized poomsae individual color belt under-17 female division of the 2nd Lents event almost two months earlier.

While the second Lents competition was aimed to raise funds for female household violence victims in Nepal wherein victims were to receive free taekwondo education and training under the WT Cares Program, the inaugural Lents meet benefited children in need in Cambodia who also received free taekwondo education and training under the WT Cares Program.

Cambronero was also a female cadet red belt poomsae gold medalist in the 2020 PTA Milo National Online Taekwondo Championships that was organized by the Philippine Taekwondo Association.

She copped a female cadet color belt bronze in the 1st Online World Taekwondo Europe Daedo Open European Poomsae Championships 2020.

The Dabawenya first learned the ropes of the sport in April 2018 when she joined the Katma Taekwondo and Fitness Club at GSIS Heights Subdivision in Matina under veteran instructor Jun Liwag.

Since then, she has collected medals in different tournaments including silvers in 2019 Batang Pinoy Mindanao Leg in Tagum City on February 4 and National Poomsae Taekwondo Championships on June 23, 2019, at SM Mall of Asia, and gold in RMC 11 New Face Taekwondo Championships in Tagum City on June 13, 2018.
