Chavez rules in tenpin bowling

ASIA-PACIFIC Games 2018 double gold medalist Crystal Chavez added another feather on her cap after topping the Datba weekly qualifying bowling tournament held Tuesday evening, September 25, at the SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center.

Chavez, thus, advanced to the monthly finals after scoring a total of 666 in the three-game series event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).

She bested John Tamondong and Kert Palces, who placed second and third, respectively.

Tamondong rolled 592 pins while Palces amassed 581 pinfalls.

Chavez received P600 while the next two placers earned P300 and P200, respectively.
