DAVAO South Regional Football Association (DRFA)-Hexamindz will try to claim a second victory when it hosts Iligan-Lanao del Norte-Lanao del Sur Region Football Association (Ilnosurfa) in the resumption of PFF U15 Boys National Championship 2019 at the Davao City-UP Sports Complex on Saturday, July 13.

DRFA edged North Davao RFA, 2-1, last July 6 in the Philippine Football Federation (PFF)-sanctioned bootfest that serves as qualifying for the nationals.

DRFA head coach Alex Adolfo, during Thursday's (July 11) Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at The Annex of SM City Davao, said, "Naay chance, dako ang chance (mudaug against Iligan) if maningkamot (There's a good chance to beat Iligan if the players really give their best)."

He said, however, that they have been telling the boys to not focus on the winning. "Maningkamot og mag-focus lang usa sa game. After na nalang nang winning (They just need to work hard and focus first on the game, the win will just follow)."

The veteran coach also said the team is a selection of the city's best players from different schools. He was pertaining to Ateneo de Davao University's Uriel Dalapo, Vianney Ross Lagundi, Psalm Emmanuel Loquero, Breindel Medina, Rhianne Mendoza and Ronmer Lei Paciente; Rizal Memorial Colleges's Gian Carlo Caserial, Janfritz Llubit and Charlze Alexander Pichon; St. Paul College of Davao's Luis Antonio Aquino and Gian Paolo Sartirani; Emar Human and Environmental College's Jhojie Fernandez, Roent Kent Sia, Arseth Jayubo and Arlauvils Osog; Stella Maris Academy of Davao's Miguel Cerin and Jose Miguel Fabello; Southpoint School's Gian Lacerna; Matthaeus Henricus Lim and Saidamin Bacul.

DRFA team manager Garry Zanoria, for his part, thanked DSRFA, Representative Paolo Duterte and Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office for their support.

The PFF subsidizes expenses of the teams since the home and away elimination format entails a huge budget.

Completing the coaching staff are assistant coach Christian Ea, goalkeeper coach Ronoel Garfin and physio coach Alex Gamat.

DRFA and Ilnosurfa are in Group G along with North Davao RFA and Golden Davao RFA.
