DPBL Game 2 slated Sunday

GAME 2 of the Davao Pride Basketball League (DBPL) Finals is set on Sunday at the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Petro Gazz Arena.

DPBL chairperson bared this during the Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at The Annex of SM City Davao Thursday, February 20.

Games will pit San Pedro College (SPC) Ulas against Ateneo Grade School (11-under), Ateneo Grade School vs Ford Academy of the Arts (12-under), Holy Child College of Davao Jacinto vs Lamb of God Sped Academy (14-under), Philippine Women’s College of Davao vs Malayan Colleges Mindanao (18-under) and PWC vs Jose Maria College (division 1).

Elementary division winners will receive trophies while the 18-under champion will take home P12,000 cash prize and trophy and the runner-up will settle for P8,000.

Game 1 had a turnout of over 2,700 spectators.

In game 1, Ateneo defeated SPC (54-42), while FAA edged Ateneo (50-48), LGSA subdued HCCD Jacinto, PWC toppled MCM and JMC beat RMC. (Shane Therese D. Caangay and Sittie Nor-Irish A. Zamora, UM interns)
