Garcia, Palacio share top honors

CELSO Garcia and Jesly Palacio shared top honors in the resumption of the Datba Weekly Tournament and Datba Youth Weekly Tournament, respectively, at SM Lanang Premier Bowling Center over the weekend.

With a handicap of 20, Garcia toppled 607 pins after three games in the bowlfest organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).

He bested Darius Beloy and Crystal Chavez who finished second and third, respectively.

Beloy, whose handicap is 30, garnered 581 pinfalls while Chavez (15) followed in close third with 580 pinfalls.

The top three placers received P900, P600 and P300.

A similar competition is set tonight.

Meanwhile, Palacio hit 512 pinfalls in three outings to clinch the youth title over Benz Palacio and John Ray Beltran who grabbed the next two spots.

Benz made 484 pinfalls while Beltran scored 483.
