THE GJaps Pirates and DC Construction eked out wins in the resumption of the Uraya Fortys Ballers Club (UFBC) Christmas League 2018 held at the Elenita Heights court in Barangay Catalunan Grande over the weekend.

The GJaps Pirates cruised past Brayden James Fitness Gym, 68-55, behind the heroics of Japs Sabio and Jeff Senon who combined for 34 points.

Prolific shooting guard Sabio led the charge with 19 points while Senon chipped in 15 for the Pirates to improve to a 3-1 win-loss record.

Jason Ladroma and Lino Camino made identical 18 points for 1-3 Brayden James Fitness Gym.

Meanwhile, Jupith Cuadrasal and Jason Laguesma provided the much-needed firepower as the DC Construction demolished Charming Forever, 69-18.

Cuadrasal erupted with 18 baskets while Laguesma drilled in 15 points for DC Construction, which also improved to 3-1 card.

Charming Forever, which suffered its third defeat and slumped to 1-3, relied on the services of Daniel Villanueva and Glenn De Guzman who made nine and six points, respectively.

The event will resume on Sunday, December 2, at the same venue.
