The JMC Kings sank DMMA College of Southern Philippines (DCSP) Mariners, 87-75, with Anthony Suaybaguio drilling in 12 markers for his team.

UM Wildcats, for its part, crushed Brokenshire College of Davao, 78-59.

Jaymar Mejala and Karlo Jay Quidlat led scoring for the Wilson de Dios-coached Wildcats. Mejala sank 14 while Quidlat chipped in 11.

The Wildcats, however, will face defending champion Agro Sailors at 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

De Dios, in an interview with SunStar Davao, said, “Lisod makaatbang ang Agro pero dulaon lang jud namo (It’s tough to face Agro but we have to just play them).”

He said his team is mostly composed of newbies.

“Agro is a more experienced team,” De Dios added. (MLSA)
