MLC Warriors retain title

DEFENDING champion MLC Warriors kept its title after winning the Davao City Duckpin Bowlers Association (Dacidba)-organized 33rd Kadayawan duckpin bowling tournament held at the Dover Mega Lanes over the weekend.

The MLC Warriors demolished MJC, 542-539, in the step-the-ladder finals to emerge back-to-back champion in the event co-presented by the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office (SDD-CMO).

MJC climbed its way to the top to arrange a titular showdown with MLC Warriors after beating Team Sarabia, 522-505, and Mafs Tractor, 542-501, respectively.

MJC grabbed the runner-up honors while Mafs Tractor placed third and Team Sarabia fourth.

In the individual masters division, Nonoy Calida toppled next three placers Lito de Guzman, Jaime Bardon and Noel Detuya.

In the distaff side, Bing Ramos-Pogoy was crowned champion after beating Baby Guerra, Engr. Allen Tibus and Roxanne Mercado.

The winners received cash prizes and trophies.

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit.
