PCT posts 2 wins in Acosta Cup

DEFENDING champion Philippine College of Technology (PCT) posted back-to-back wins in the ongoing 15th Acosta Cup ladies' open football tournament held at the Tionko field.

PCT-GGS Enterprise escaped past Sikat Alab, 2-1, after a rousing 6-0 win over the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Bulldogs over the weekend in the event organized by the Office of Davao City Councilor Mabel Sunga-Acosta.

Last year, the Alvic Troyo-mentored PCT won the title after dethroning 2016 champion D' Davao Survivors (DDS), 3-0, in the finals.

Meanwhile, the CR7 Foodtruck shares the top spot with a 2-0 slate.

CR7 demolished the Bulldogs, 7-0. The latter remained at the cellar with 2-0.

The games will resume this weekend at the same venue. (ABM)
