THE Southern Philippines Polytechnic College Inc. (SPPCI) and St. Patrick Math-Sci School (SPMSS) will clash against each other for the junior division bracket C lead at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27, as the Davao Youth Basketball League (DYBL) 2019 and Liga Pinay 2019 resume at the Margarita Gym, J. P. Laurel Avenue, Davao City.

SPPCI and SPMSS have identical one-win, zero-loss card. The former tamed the Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) Bulldogs, 62-58, last July 6, while the latter escaped past Immanuel School of Davao (ISD), 55-53, on July 7 in the cagefest organized by Red Sports Events.

Their collision is the lone junior match for the day as four games will be pitting cadet teams Ford Academy of the Arts (FAA) against Assumption College of Davao (ACD) at 10:30 a.m., Jesus Soriano National High School (JSNHS) against BSHS at 11:45 a.m., Davao City National High School (DCNHS) against RMC at 1 p.m. and ISD against San Pedro College (SPC) Ulas at 2:15 p.m.

FAA and ACD each holds a 1-1 record in bracket A, while JSNHS has 1-1 and BSHS with O-2 in bracket B. DCNHS and RMC, meanwhile, are playing in bracket C with 1-1 card apiece while 0-2 ISD and SPC Ulas have yet to score a win.

Meanwhile, two Liga Pinay games will usher the resumption of the cagefest for High School girls. ACD-A battles Calinan National High School at 8 a.m. followed by the 9:15 a.m. clash between Ateneo de Davao University and Philippine Women's College of Davao.
