Velasco enters finals

GAB Velasco secured a slot to the monthly finals after winning last Tuesday's Datba weekly qualifying bowling tournament held at the SM Lanang Premier bowling center.

Velasco toppled 606 pinfalls in the three-game event organized by the Davao Tenpin Bowlers Association (Datba).

He outclassed John Tamondong and Ronald Martin who ended up in the next two spots. Tamondong rolled 602 pins while Martin scored 596.

The champion received P900 while the second and third placers took home P600 and P300, respectively.
