Facebook is bad

Are you still adamant about your Facebook usage? Does it still eat up huge chunks of your time during the day? Does it still disrupt quality time with the family? An article published by BBC News recently said that "Facebook, which has 1.49 billion daily active users according to September 2018 figures, has acknowledged that social media can be bad for users' mental health." Uh oh! And one more thing: "Using the site by "passively consuming information" can leave people "feeling worse" but "interacting with people you care about" is beneficial, according to their blog in 2017.”

I’m sure many will argue also about the good side of the social network giant. What I’m trying to get at here is that when it’s done without moderation and control, bad things are bound to happen.

New phones

Come 2019, the mobile world is expecting a slew of new phones from the biggest manufacturers around the world. Our hunger to get the most bad ass phone out there will again be fueled and things will definitely go haywire in the finances. Trusted Reviews published an article recently that lists down eight phones to watch out for next year.

Check out the link for the list.

2018’s best gadgets

In review of this year’s best gadgets to have, Forbes has an article on that. There are some products listed there that may not be readily available in the country. But then again, there’s a bevy of online shopping websites to visit. All you gotta make sure is that you have enough funds in your bank account.

Oh... and happy new year!
