A TOTAl of 866 beneficiaries received their two-month benefits from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) during the distribution activity at Katilingban Gym in Molo Nov. 21.

Mayor Jose III Espinosa together with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Office Western Visayas led the distribution of almost P3-million total cash grants.

“We are always in full support in helping every Ilonggo. This is the program that we are looking for to provide benefits to the residents,” Espinosa said.

El Christine Delfino, city roving book keeper of DSWD-Western Visayas, said the beneficiaries received grants for education, health and rice subsidy for the month of June and July.

Delfino also emphasized the 4Ps recipients must follow the conditions of DSWD such as they must be present during family development sessions, and they must bring their children aged one to five years old to barangay health centers for immunizations and check-ups. (PR)
