Capitol opens Jobstart Iloilo Wave 2019

ILONGGO youths actively looking for work can now apply to JobStart Philippines Program, a full cycle employment facilitation service providing free employability enhancement and skills trainings with allowance, being implemented by the Iloilo Provincial Government through the Public Employment Service Office (Peso).

JobStart Iloilo’s Wave 2019 implementation will provide 100 qualified youth beneficiaries with 10-day life skills training, up to three months of technical skills training, and maximum of three months of internship with Peso-partner industries, all for free including daily training allowance, insurance, and medical and security fees.

Funded by Department of Labor and Employment and Asian Development Bank, the program aims to shorten school-to-work transition among young jobseekers having difficult time finding jobs after they graduate.

Peso Iloilo will open the registration on July 22 to August 9, 2019 at 5th Floor, Iloilo Provincial Capitol.

Applicants must be:

- 18-24 years old

- At least high school graduate

- Currently not studying, not working, not in training

- With less than one year work experience

- A resident of Iloilo Province

- Actively looking for work

The requirements are:

- Birth Certificate/ Valid ID with Birthdate

- Certificate of Residency

- School Record (form138/diploma/TOR)
