ILOILO City Community College (ICCC) student recipients benefitted from Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) of the Commission on Higher Education (Ched).

ICCC has a total of 154 grantees for the Annual Year 2018-2019, 125 of them received their grants on April 30, 2019.

The additional grantees for AY 2018-2019 received their grants on June 30, 2020. Some of them had already graduated.

For AY 2019-2020, Ched-Unified Financial Assistance for Tertiary Education (Unifast)-TES as part of their prioritization scheme provided funds for the 92 continuing grantees.

The grant is intended to cover the students' allowance for books, supplies, transportation, and miscellaneous personal expenses including a documented rental or purchase of a personal computer or laptop and other education-related expenses.

TES for Filipino Students is one component of the Republic Act 10931 known as the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education.

Recipients are decided by Ched through the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction or the Listahan 2.0, the Information Management System of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. (PIO)
