IN A move to promote healthy lifestyle among Iloilo City Hall employees, the Iloilo City Sports Division will hold the Summer Wellness Program starting April 22.

“This is part of 'Pag-Ulikid sa Empleyado' program of Mayor Jose Espinosa III because we have noticed that some employees are suffering from sickness due to unhealthy lifestyle. Through this event, we aim to encourage them to be active and healthy by joining sports,” City Sports Division officer-in-charge Moises Salomon Jr. said.

The game matches start at 3:30 p.m. and will last for two to three weeks.

The sports events are basketball for men; volleyball for men and women; table tennis for male singles, female singles, and mix doubles; badminton male doubles, female doubles, and mix doubles.

There will be eight clustered teams including Gray, Green, Yellow, Navy Blue, Orange, Red, White, and Violet. (PR)
