Iloilo City holds economic recovery forum on July 27

The City Government and the University of Asia and the Pacific will hold “Bangon Iloilo! Padayon sa Pagbátò” A Forum on Economic Recovery via Zoom on July 27, 2021.

"I have requested University of Asia and the Pacific to prepare a forum for an economic briefing for our businessmen. We will see how the economy will be going for the rest of the year. Bátò Iloilo!" Mayor Jerry Treñas said.

City Hall is coordinating with the Iloilo Economic Development Foundation (Iled), Iloilo Business Club, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)-Iloilo, the Federation of Filipino Chinese Association of Panay, and Filipino Chinese Associations of Iloilo City, and Iloilo Hotels, Resorts and Restaurants Association (IHRRA).

This is a major initiative to help Iloilo City in recovering from economic slump brought about by the pandemic.

The event will feature foremost Filipino economist Dr. Bernard Villegas, and UA&P President Dr. Winston Conrad Padojinog.

Webinar partners include Iloilo Business Club, Iloilo Economic Development Foundation and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Iloilo.
