ACTRESS Assunta de Rossi, 37, has given birth to her first child with politician Jules Ledesma.

The delivery was announced Friday, October 23, by Assunta's sister, Alessandra, through an Instagram post.

"This is the most beautiful photo for life! Little Fiore and tears of joy in my sister's eyes," Alessandra said, with a photo showing Assunta holding her newborn.

Fiore was born after "almost 20 years in the making," Alessandra added.

"Miracles happen every day, and this one is the best!" she added.

Assunta announced her pregnancy in May this year. She considers it a "miracle," as she had struggled to conceive due to her having myoma and endometriosis.

"Getting pregnant the natural way with myoma and endometriosis (which I both have) is extremely difficult. Only medical intervention or a miracle can make it happen. This was a miracle!" she said in her May 5 Instagram post.
