40 cocaine blocks found in Surigao del Norte

FORTY blocks of substance believed to be cocaine were found in the waters of Burgos, Surigao del Norte around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 7, police said.

The Police Regional Office-Caraga reported that the bricks were wrapped with fishnets and have markings similar to those recovered in February in Barangay Pacifico, San Isidro, Siargao, Surigao del Norte.

The illegal drugs will be turned over to the provincial crime laboratory for verification, said police.
