5 arrested with ecstasy tablets worth P17M

PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives arrested on Saturday evening, August 8, 2020, five individuals who yielded 10,000 ecstasy tablets worth a total of P17 million in Pampanga province.

The five suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PDEA agents and local police arrested four persons at around 8:20 p.m. Saturday in San Roque Dau in Lubao.

Arrested were Joshua Bautista, 20, William Valencia, 41, Raphy Quibuloy, 30, and Patrick Bagang, 35.

Seized from the four suspects were 5,000 tablets of ecstasy with an estimated street value of P8.5 million.

In another operation at about 8:38 p.m. also on Saturday, authorities arrested Katrina Mendoza, 36, in San Roque Dau, 1st Lubao.

Mendoza also yielded 5,000 pieces of the illegal psychoactive drug valued at P8.5 million.
