Comelec deploys ballots for local absentee voting

THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) has started the deployment of ballots for local absentee voting (LAV), it announced on Wednesday, April 13, 2022.

"The Committee on Local Absentee Voting (Clav) has commenced the deployment of local absentee ballots and other election paraphernalia to the government agencies, AFP (Armed Forces of the Philippines), PNP (Philippine National Police), media entities and corporations," it said.

Personnel of the said government and public entities who will be on duty on May 9 and who earlier registered are permitted to avail themselves of the LAV, which is scheduled on April 27 to 29.
