They must have active and complete registration records, either overseas of local.

They must also own a smartphone (Android or iOS), tablet, or laptop/PC with internet access.

Lastly, they should agree to the data privacy policy (DPP) as well as the use of personal data for the test runs.

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) plans to conduct a series of live test runs of various internet voting systems as part of a study on the potential use of internet-based technologies for overseas voting in future elections.

Applicants will get a video call from the OFOV to verify their credentials and confirm their consent to the data privacy policy. (HDT / SunStar Philippines)
