Duterte-Carpio establishes VP satellite offices

VICE President Sara Duterte-Carpio has established her satellite offices in various regions across the country to provide easier access to individuals seeking their assistance.

Duterte said the satellite offices were established in Dagupan (Ilocos Region), Cebu (Central Visayas), Tacloban (Eastern Visayas), Zamboanga (Zamboanga Peninsula), Davao (Davao Region), and Tandag in Surigao del Sur (Caraga).

“Sa aking unang buong araw bilang bise presidente, nagbukas po tayo ng mga satellite office sa iba’t-ibang bahagi ng bansa upang matulungan ang ating mga kababayan na magkaroon ng madali at agarang access sa mga serbisyong mula sa Office of the Vice President,” she said in a Facebook post.

(During my first full day as vice president, we opened satellite offices in various parts of the country to help our countrymen have easy and immediate access to services from the Office of the Vice President.)

Duterte, the eldest daughter of former president Rodrigo Duterte, will head the education department.

In her oathtaking speech, she highlighted the importance of building a good foundation for the shaping of children, especially at home, for a better future for the country. (SunStar Philippines)
