THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD) released Thursday, January 31, the composite facial sketch of one of the persons behind the killing of Bagong Silangan, Quezon City Chairwoman Crisel Beltran.

Beltran was killed in an ambush staged by four persons around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 30. Her driver was also killed in the incident, while four others were wounded.

QCPD Director Joselito Esquivel Jr. said the facial sketch of one of the perpetrators was based on the description of an eyewitness.

The gunman was described to be in his 40s, between 5’4” and 5’5” tall, slim build, has a fair complexion, with black hair, and was then wearing long sleeves, black jacket and long pants.

Esquivel said investigators are now reviewing closed-circuit television footages in the area for the possible identification of the perpetrators.

The reward was offered for any information that would help solve Beltran’s murder. It will come from the Quezon City Government. (SunStar Philippines)
