Kush laboratory raided in Subic

ANTI-NARCOTICS operatives found on Friday, January 11, Kush plants being farmed inside a residential house in Subic, Zambales.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) regional office reported that it dismantled a facility cultivating and manufacturing Kush or Cannabis Indica during a raid around 2:15 a.m. in a house inside the Magdalena Homes in Subic.

It said 70 pots of “high grade” Kush plants were recovered inside the facility, which is inside the house allegedly owned by 42-year-old British national, Simon Stuart Mclaren Watson, and his live-in partner, 28-year-old Filipina, Rizza Fernandez.

Watson and Fernandez were arrested during the operation.

They will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (SunStar Philippines)
