POLICE arrested a man who is on top of the most wanted list in Eastern Visayas in an operation conducted in Taguig City, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Debold Sinas said on Saturday, February 13, 2021.

Rowegie Anlio, 32, had been in hiding for about seven years, Sinas said.

An arrest warrant for murder and carnapping was issued by the Tacloban City Regional Trial Court against Anlio in 2014.

The suspect was arrested in an operation conducted by joint police units in Central Bicutan.

The suspect will be brought back to Tacloban City in Leyte for presentation before the court. (Third Anne Peralta-Malonzo / SunStar Philippines)
