NBI arrests suspect in killing of Cebu lawyer

THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has arrested a suspect in the killing of Cebu lawyer Joey Luis Wee, NBI Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin confirmed on Wednesday, December 9, 2020.

Lavin said Fausto Edgard Peralta was arrested Tuesday evening, December 8.

Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said the suspect was tracked down in Laguna.

No other information was available as of Wednesday noon.
