New Ako Bicol representative assumes office

AKO Bicol fourth nominee Ronald Ang took his oath of office before House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo during the plenary session Wednesday, January 16.

Ang replaced Rodel Batocabe, who was shot dead on December 22, 2018 in Daraga, Albay.

Ako Bicol won three seats in the 17th Congress. Its other representatives are Christopher Co and Alfredo Garbin Jr.

Authorities have tagged Daraga, Mayor Carlwyn Baldo as the mastermind behind the December 22 killing of Batocabe.
