Over P27-M shabu seized from 3 high-value targets

POLICE arrested two drug personalities who yielded over P27 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) during a buy-bust operation in Angono, Rizal on Thursday dawn, May 5, 2022.

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Dionardo Carlos said Aries Apelena, Dennis Delos Santos and Mariz Sedaya, who were tagged as “high-value drug personalities,” were arrested in a drug sting in Barangay Mahabang Parang around 3:20 a.m.

Recovered from the suspects were 12 transparent plastic sachets containing substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less four kilos and five grams and with an estimated street value of P 27.234 million.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the three suspects.
