Parojinog lawyer gunned down in Ozamiz

A RETIRED government prosecutor who served as legal counsel to the Parojinog family was gunned down Tuesday morning, May 22, in Ozamiz City in Northern Mindanao region.

Geronimo Marave Jr. was shot dead by motorcycle-riding men while he was driving his sports utility vehicle at around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to Superintendent Lemuel Gonda, spokesperson of the Police Regional Office in Northern Mindanao.

The Ozamiz City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said it received a call at 11:13 a.m. about a shooting incident in front of a bank.
