Third Anne Peralta-Malonzo

PHILIPPINE National Police (PNP) Chief Oscar Albayalde ordered on Tuesday, October 23, an investigation on three cadets of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) who allegedly ordered two male plebes to perform oral sex on them due to several violations.

“I will have it investigated by our DIDM (Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management). Mananagot ‘yung mga responsable diyan,” he said.

“I can assure you na maliban sa criminal case nila ay magkakaroon pa sila ng administrative charges that will lead to their dismissal from the academy,” he added.

According to PNPA Director Chief Superintendent Joseph Adnol, two freshmen plebes reported to the academy leadership that they were asked to perform oral sex on one of their upper classmen while two others watched at the back of their barracks on October 6 for allegedly disobeying orders.

Adnol said the three cadets were placed on hold at the PNPA while investigation is ongoing.

He said they will be facing administrative charges and criminal charge of hazing. (SunStar Philippines)
