Robredo launches teleconsultation services, distributes Covid-19 care kits

ASIDE from the Swab Cab rapid antigen testing program, Vice President Maria Leonor Robredo has also launched a free teleconsultation services and distributed care kits to outpatient coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) patients.

The Bayanihan e-Konsulta was established through the help of volunteer doctors and health professionals to provide assistance to mild or asymptomatic Covid-19 patients in the National Capital Region (NCR), where the healthcare system is being challenged by an upsurge in new cases.

The online platform may be accessed through their Facebook account Bayanihan E-Konsulta.

The OVP will also provide Covid-19 care kits which include the following items for the monitoring of the patient:

  • Digital thermometer
  • Face masks
  • Pulse oximeter
  • Disinfectant spray
  • Alcohol
  • Waste disposal bag
  • Monitoring sheet
  • Phenylpropanolamine hydrochloride for nasal congestion;
  • Paracetamol for fever and headache;
  • Carbocisteine for cough with phlegm;
  • Cetirizine for allergies;
  • Butamirate for dry cough;
  • Oral rehydration salts for dehydration;
  • Hexetidine gargle for sore throat; and
  • Vitamin C with Zinc and Vitamin D3 as supplements.
