Sandra Cam surrenders

PHILIPPINE Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) board member Sandra Cam has surrendered in Calabarzon, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Chief Albert Ignatius Ferro confirmed on Thursday, April 29, 2021,

"Sa ating Regional Field Unit 4A sa Calabarzon, so mga bandang hapon ata o gabi yun nagsurrender, nag-voluntary surrender kahapon (She surrendered to our Regional Field Unit 4A in Calabarzon in the afternoon or evening of Wednesday),” he said.

Ferro said Cam is now confined in a hospital in Cavite “due to a prevailing medical concern” and is being guarded by policemen.

Cam has a standing arrest warrant along with her son, Marco Martin, and five others for murder and frustrated murder charges in connection with the killing of then Batuan Masbate Vice Mayor Charlie Yuson III in 2019.

No bail was recommended for the murder charges while the court set P200,000 bail for the frustrated murder charges.
