Wanted: 5,000 customer service assistants

ALMOST 5,000 customer service assistants are currently in demand in the country, according to the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE).

In a social media post, the BLE said customer service assistants are the most in-demand workers in the country during the period of June 17 to 23 at 4,968 job vacancies.

Coming at second place, it said, are production machine operators with 2,710 job vacancies.

Production workers, meanwhile, are in third place with 1,240 employment opportunities.

The BLE said there are 1,080 vacancies for supervising utilities/customer service officers to occupy the fourth spot.

Coming in last at Top 5 are debt collectors with 500 job vacancies.

The BLE said the numbers are sourced from the different Public Employment Service Offices (Peso) nationwide.

The bureau said interested applicants may coordinate with the Peso nearest to them. (HDT/SunStar Philippines)
