MANILA -- Another suspect in the Davao City bombing surrendered to the Philippine Army and Philippine National Police on Thursday, November 10, around 5:30 a.m.

The suspect was identified as Jerico Javier De Roma, also known as "Kokoy," a member of Dawlah Islamiyah Fi Lanao Cotabato Chapter (Maute Group), 25 years old, and a resident of Mandanas Compound, RH10, Cotabato City.

De Roma was the driver of the group involved in the Davao City bombing last September 2, 2016 which caused the death of 15 persons and the wounding of 70 others.

According to sources, De Roma surrendered because he started feeling the pressure of the security forces closing in on him.

He is now under the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. (PR)
