THE Negros Occidental Provincial Board (PB) approved Friday the P10-million supplemental budget for about 80 Negrense centenarians who will be honored during the Cinco de Noviembre rites set at the Provincial Capitol grounds on November 5.

The PB, responding to the request of Governor Alfredo Maranon Jr., convened in a special session and passed unanimously Supplemental Budget 3 containing the fund.

Sixth district Board Member Pedro Zayco served as acting presiding officer during the Friday session.

Also present were Board Members Patrick Leonard Lacson, Salvador Escalante Jr., Miller Serondo, Rolando Ponsica, Alain Gatuslao, Victor Javellana, Helen Zafra and Raul Rivera of the PCL. (TDE)
