THE brothers accused of killing their fellow sugarcane worker at Hacienda Elsa, Barangay Estefania in Bacolod City on November 5 surrendered to La Carlota City Police Station on Monday.

Senior Inspector John Ganzon, chief of Police Station 4 in Bacolod, identified the suspects as Pacore siblings Leo, 20 and Larry Jr., 19, both of Barangay Bokros, La Carlota City.

Others who came to the station with the siblings were six other persons, including a 17-year-old male minor. Their names were withheld pending investigation.

The Pacore siblings allegedly stabbed to death John Clemar Mumbatso, 37, of Barangay Pait, La Carlota City while they were having a drinking session inside their barracks in Bacolod.

Despite their surrender, investigation will still proceed, Ganzon said.

He added that the other six who surrendered are also subject to investigation to determine if they have participation in the crime.

All suspects are already in custody of Police Station 4. (GYM)
