AN EMPLOYEE of a financing firm was wounded while another was missing after they were robbed by unidentified gunmen in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Thursday.

Zamboanga Sibugay police said the incident happened around 11 a.m. Wednesday in the village of Malungon, Tungawan, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Wounded was Jemar Ganob and missing was Elmer Halop, both employees of JDS Financing Services, a lending firm based in the town of Imelda, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Investigation showed the victims were onboard a motorcycle traveling to Poblacion village from Malungon when waylaid by two gunmen, the police said.

The gunmen shot the victims when they tried to run away, the police said.

The suspects fled bringing with them the cash and valuables they took from the victims, the police added. (Bong Garcia/Sunnex)
