16 outlets selling NFA rice at P27

THE National Food Authority (NFA) Davao said there are currently 16 NFA accredited outlets in Davao City.

In a statement, these outlets include those in: Bankerohan (Fidel Paolo Gonzales), Agdao Public Market (Macario Paco), Calinan Public Market (Fe Mayon), Toril Public Market (Edwward Jickain), Boulevard (Nestor Dellatan), Matina Public market (Gaspara Gonzales), Buhangin Public Market (Christopher Forones), Bunawan (Consuelo Sevilla), Lasang (Marlon Sevilla), Tibungco (Joel Laluna), Sasa/Panacan (Giselle Cantero), Mintal (Rosita Cano), Babak (Ruel Secuya), Peñaplata (Voltaire Atianzar), Kaputian (Jonathan Doplayna), and Talikud (Mary Jane Villarte).

NFA rice for these outlets, which are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., cost only P27 per kilo.

In an earlier interview with NFA Davao City Assistant Manager Maria Elaine M. Respecia, she said the four major markets in Davao City such as Agdao, Bankerohan, Calinan, and Toril are allocated with 30 bags of NFA rice per week for every accredited retailer. As for minor markets including those in the talipapa, only 20 bags are allocated.
