55 police recruits take oath

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Philippine National Police Cordillera took in 55 recruits in a simple oath taking ceremony.

Forty eight men and seven women took their oath before Regional Command Director Villamor Bumanglag and police human resource and development chief Froilan Perez.

Bumanglag administered the oath taking with the parents and relatives of the applicants, including members of the police command group and other PNP personnel as witnesses.

Cordillera police chief information Chief Leon Talleo said awarding of the members of the recruitment board was incorporated during the program.

Bumanglag said “much is being expected from you, be responsible police officers and to serve and protect the people to the best of you ability.”

After the oath taking and reception rites, the new recruits were turned over to the Cordillera regional training camp. (Maria Elena Catajan)
