Apayao teacher rapes boy

A 59-YEAR-OLD teacher in Apayao is now facing rape charges for allegedly molesting a 12-year-old boy.

Police reports point to Aguinaldo Bilo Cabasag, head teacher of a school in Kabugao as lone suspect in the alleged rape of a grade school pupil.

Reports reveal the crime transpired on the night of November 18 at the Quirino Elementary School in Luna while the 12-year-old boy was asleep.

The victim, a delegate for a provincial meet was inside their designated room at school when he was awakened by the suspect who was in the act of “touching, hugging and kissing his neck. Further, the suspect inserted his private organ to the anus of the victim,” the police report indicated.

Official reports say the boy resisted and tried to shout for help but Cabasag covered his mouth after satisfying his (suspect) lust, he told the victim not to reveal to anyone of what happened and after which the suspect went inside the bathroom.

The boy was brought to the Far North Luzon General Hospital & Training Center and is presently being assisted by the Women and Child Protection Desk of Luna.

The case is under investigation and progress report will follow.

As of press time, it cannot be determined if the suspect was arrested.
