MANILA -- President Benigno Aquino III stood pat on his decision of appointing former Chief Justice Hilario Davide as head of Truth Commission.

The President issued the statement amid criticisms of Senator Jinggoy Estrada during his privilege speech saying that Davide is "unfit" to head the commission.

He said that the track record of Davide speaks for himself and he is apt for the job.

The President disclosed that they are talking to four other people who could be part of the Truth Commission.
